Right I'm off to university tomorrow, so I won't be online for quite a long time, since I'm not taking my PC. So best of luck to everyone going to uni this time.

Well I'm off to Loughborough on Wednesday but I WILL be taking my PC.
One slight problem though, I think my CPU cooked itself, all that happens when I turn it on is that alarms sound. If the CPU has cooked itself then here are the best and worst case scenarious.
Best: I send it back and the send me a replacement.
Worst: I send it back and they tell me to fuck off.
I can't see any burn marks on the CPU so I hope that I can still get it working and all this is just a temporary set back.
For the few fleeting moments that it was working, when I ran 3DMark 2003 I got 11,777 points! (That's a lot of points by the way.)

Good luck at uni, Phil, we'll all miss you (just kidding; I won't). :-P
You bastard! Stop leaving. You're the only semi-sane person on the forums, you can't leave! Good luck, anyways. ;-)

Hey, Dave (can I call you Dave?), good thing with the date of the last posted comment, but I was thinking like in the title... something simple, too.

Who said I was leaving the forums??? Hmm??? Well I'm not.
Hey Paul, I'm not sure I really want to add the last update time to the blog title, it's not really part of the title.
What did you mean a something simple? I don't really want to put something like 1/10/04 because I'll get a load of comments from retard Americans (no offence ) complaining about the date being wrong.

Not the blog title, you... you... YOU! I meant the link title, doi! Yes, by simple I meant something like 1/10/04 -- what is that, anyways? day/month/year? Should be month/day/year... everyone knows that.

Couldn't have put it better myself.

Now I'm lost about that Americans thing. What's wrong with Americans? Just because we call "Jam" Jelly, and "Jelly" Jello, and "Lift" elevator, and "Scone" biscuit? Sheesh. Calm down.
David, what I meant was the link to the comments under each blog entry. You know how it says, "Comments (11)" -- well, at the moment, there is no title being used on that link. I would suggest placing the date of the last comment in the title attribute of that link. Or, you could just use some nifty cookie handling and just have something in the title around, "New comment(s) have been posted since your last visit". Or something along those lines.

Oh I see, you meant the title ATTRIBUTE. Would it really have been too much effort to include the word attribute in your description? Really, come on, I know you're American but that's no excuse!
I was thinking about using a cookie so that I could display all new blogs and/or comments since the last visit, however then I started University and now all I can think of is, "SHIT I'M AT FUCKING UNIVERSITY!!!" I'm sure you can see how distressed I am.
Honestly, I'm this close to fretting!!!

Well the CPU was delivered to my house on Wednesday, unfortunately I won't be able to get my PC here until *sigh* next weekend, which means I'm still stuck on these crappy Uni PC's until then.
I didn't even think it was possible to actually miss a computer game. (Doom3 btw)

Arnt you so glad you decided to "overclock" your CPU now
So does the "next weekend" mean you actually told your mum n dad n they said "hell no!" to you coming home this weekend (as said in your e-mail)?
Btw .... your so close to some of the best bit's of Doom 3, such a shame you cant play on it - Nightmare, however, is bloody impossible!
