I just wanted to do a quick poll of any webdevelopers that read this. What’s your favourite part of webdevelopment?
For me the order would probably be as follows:
- (X)HTML/CSS
- JavaScript
- PHP
- Pulling my nails out with pliars
- Poking myself in the eye with a sharp stick
- Designing (I just can’t do it.)
There are two points in there that haven’t been traditionally associated with webdevelopment, but I felt it necessary to include them in order to emphasize my extreme dislike of anything creative. What does your list look like? Feel free to include any other aspects of webdevelopment that I have omitted in my haste.

Good one there Ben.
* Designing (in Photoshop)
* Programming (JavaScript and PHP about the same, also love learning new programming technologies)
* CSS design (to finish off the designing I did in Photoshop).
* (x)HTML markup (sooooooooo boring!!!).
* Programming
* CSS
* (x)HTML
* Reorganising/Tidying my files
* Cleaning
* Cooking
* Design
I’d like to know how to design but just can’t for the life of me figure out how it all works!
Autistic cuckoo had interesting (X)HTML articles…
…and you Brits you. It’s not hard to make the pretty.
Photoshop’s a bitch, though.
Hey milkman, I’d rate cooking above cleaning, because with cooking at least there’s something to look forward to at the end. 😛
